Marvel Doctor Doom Silver Chase Metallic Funko Pop Figure

The design keeps Doom's classic outline. A deep hood frames a riveted metal mask with narrow eye slits, the cloak falls to the base behind him, and the armor beneath shows the chest plate, belt and boots. One gauntlet is raised in a clenched fist.

The finish is what sets this version apart. Instead of the usual green tunic, every surface is polished silver, with brighter highlights on the hood and mask and slightly darker tones in the recesses, so the rivets and panel lines stand out.

Doctor Doom, ruler of Latveria

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Doctor Doom first appeared in Fantastic Four #5 in 1962. Victor von Doom is a genius scientist and sorcerer who rules the European nation of Latveria and sees himself as the only one fit to rule the world.

His armor is the core of his image. Scarred in an accident, Doom hides behind a metal mask and a full suit of armor, and that iron face has made him one of the most recognizable villains in comics.

The character is also about to reach a far larger audience. Robert Downey Jr. plays Doctor Doom in Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for December 2026.

A Chase finish for collectors

The clear case is marked Pop! Marvel, number 13 and Doctor Doom, with a round Limited Chase Edition sticker on the front. Among collectors, a Chase is a rarer alternate finish of a figure, and spotting one is part of the fun.

The packaging also matches the figure. Instead of a printed cardboard box, it uses a clear case with white line art of Doom's mask and cloak, so the silver figure stays fully visible from every side.

Made for display

The figure is designed to be seen. The metallic silver paint on the vinyl body catches light on a desk or shelf, and it stands out next to colorful Pop figures, comics or other Marvel collectibles.

The supplied specifications describe a figure about 9 cm (3.5 in) tall, made from durable vinyl/PVC as a solid molded figure with a stylized oversized head.

Collectors who want Doom in his classic colors as well can pair it with the Marvel Doctor Doom Green Cloak Metallic Mask Funko Pop Figure.

For a larger build of the same villain, the Doctor Doom brick-built figure set offers a different way to display him.

The idea is as simple as Doom himself. A man made of metal, shown entirely in metal.
