DMCA & Copyright Policy

Doesignus sells original artwork, and we take other people’s rights as seriously as our own. If you own a copyright or trademark and believe something on this site infringes it, tell us and we will act.

We remove genuinely infringing listings quickly. We do not need a lawsuit to do the right thing.

Reporting an infringement

Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a valid notice includes all of the following:

  1. 01A physical or electronic signature of the rights owner, or of someone authorised to act for them
  2. 02Identification of the work you say has been infringed
  3. 03The URL of each specific product page or image you are reporting, precise enough for us to find it
  4. 04Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
  5. 05A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law
  6. 06A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the owner

What happens next

  1. 01We acknowledge your notice, normally within 2 business days.
  2. 02We review the reported listings.
  3. 03Where the claim is valid, we remove or disable the material promptly.
  4. 04We notify whoever supplied the material and give them a copy of your notice.

Orders already placed for a removed design may be cancelled and refunded.

Counter-notice

If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  1. 01Your physical or electronic signature
  2. 02Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal
  3. 03A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. 04Your name, address and telephone number
  5. 05A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, the material may be restored.

Repeat infringers and false claims

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Be aware that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation — in either a notice or a counter-notice — can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be certain before filing.

Our own designs

Everything sold here is original artwork created for Doesignus. We do not use team names, club crests, band names, album artwork, song lyrics or licensed characters. Our designs speak to the culture around those things, which is a different thing entirely.

If you find a store selling copies of our artwork, we would like to know. Email [email protected] with a link.
