Material changes the look
A layered acrylic standee reads more like dimensional artwork; a cast resin or vinyl figure has mass, contour and a painted surface. Sculpted pieces may be hand-finished and set on a weighted base. Product pages list the dimensions so you can judge scale before ordering.
Buy for the display they already have
Think about shelf height, desk space and whether the recipient collects small pieces or larger centerpiece objects. A figure should fit the collection rather than simply be “bigger is better.”
Finishing takes time
