KFC x Marvel Colonel Sanders Avengers Doomsday Collectible Figure 9cm

On December 18, 2026, Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters with Doctor Doom, Thor, The Thing, Cyclops and Gambit in the same story. Long before any of them reached a screen, an old man in a white suit was frying chicken at a roadside café in Corbin, Kentucky, and turning his own face into a trademark. This fan-made collection imagines the Colonel cast in the crossover.

Each figure keeps Harland Sanders as the world pictures him, from the swept-back white hair and black glasses to the snowy goatee, then zips him into a full costume. None of the five lets go of the red-and-white bucket, which seems fair for a man who spent his life selling what was inside.

The full lineup on a dark marble desk, every hero with a bucket.

The Colonel and Marvel's heroes grew up in the same era

Sanders started feeding travelers at his Corbin service station in the 1930s, and Kentucky named him an honorary colonel in 1935. The first franchise opened in Salt Lake City in 1952 under Pete Harman, and the Original Recipe, with its 11 herbs and spices, became one of the best-kept secrets in American food.

Marvel was building its universe in the same years, with the Fantastic Four in 1961, Doctor Doom and Thor in 1962 and the X-Men in 1963. KFC also likes a screen tie-in, as its summer 2026 Supergirl menu and Krypto bucket showed, but this lineup is an imagined mash-up rather than a real promotion.

On black risers in green smoke, the five read like a comic-book cover.

Five costumes come with five very different histories

Every figure is dressed as a character with decades of comics behind him. Each one also has a part in the new film:

Figure	First comic appearance	In Avengers: Doomsday
Doctor Doom	Fantastic Four #5 (1962)	Robert Downey Jr.
The Thing	Fantastic Four #1 (1961)	Ebon Moss-Bachrach
Thor	Journey into Mystery #83 (1962)	Chris Hemsworth
Cyclops	X-Men #1 (1963)	James Marsden
Gambit	Uncanny X-Men #266 (1990)	Channing Tatum

Every figure hides a joke for comic readers

Doom cradles his bucket like a stolen relic, which suits a ruler who has never shared anything in his life. The Thing keeps the blue uniform with the number 4 on his chest, and with fists that size, "It's clobberin' time!" sounds more like a dinner bell than a threat.

Gambit fans out his cards beside a neon spade, a nod to the Cajun card sharp of the X-Men. Thor hoists Stormbreaker, the axe he forged in Avengers: Infinity War, and Cyclops touches his visor as a red beam cuts across the room. Under every costume, the Colonel's calm smile never changes.

One hero fits a desk and five fill a shelf

Pick a single favorite from the Choose Your Figure menu, or collect all five and rebuild the lineup from the photos. Doom and The Thing restage the Fantastic Four's oldest feud, while Cyclops and Gambit bring the X-Men to the table.

They make a funny gift for the friend who will be first in line on December 18. For a holiday countdown starring the same Colonel, look at our KFC Christmas advent calendar.
