The franchise was only two seasons old when it won the title. Several of the women who lifted the trophy had been waiting far longer than that.
The decanter is shaped like a trophy you can pour from. A faceted crystal stopper crowns an upper globe moulded as a basketball, its seams traced in fine lines across a pebbled, frosted surface. Below it the glass pinches into an hourglass and flares onto a heavy clear foot.
The front is etched with the Valkyries wordmark and winged emblem, a single star, "2026 WNBA Champions" and the line "The First Crown." It arrives in a purple box printed with the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline.

The first title belonged to players who had waited longest
Golden State built its roster in 2025 as an expansion team, and the easy story is how quickly it won. The better story sits inside the locker room, where a handful of veterans finally saw years of near misses pay off:
| Player | Where she stood | What she gave the Finals |
|---|---|---|
| Tiffany Hayes | In her 14th season, still without a ring | Her first championship, won in Game 7 at Chase Center |
| Kiah Stokes | A veteran chasing her fourth title | 19 blocks across the series, a Finals record |
| Gabby Williams | A former UConn forward in her prime | 30 points in Game 7 and the Finals MVP award |
| Veronica Burton | The guard trusted with the ball late | Ice-cold shooting from the line as Game 7 ran out |
The basketball globe sits above the etched "First Crown" panel.
A slow drink suits a hard-won series
Whiskey is a patient spirit, and this Finals rewarded patience. The Atlanta Dream pushed Golden State to seven games, the first WNBA Finals ever to go the distance. The deciding game finished 68-63 on Halloween night, in front of 18,064 people at Chase Center.
Nobody expected an expansion roster to be holding a trophy so soon, and the veterans knew better than anyone how rare the chance was. A decanter etched with that night is a fitting way to keep it, next to the Valkyries First Crown championship ring or on its own at the centre of a bar shelf.

Pour it for the people who were there
Four former UConn players won this title together: Hayes, Williams, Stokes and Kaitlyn Chen. Fans who followed any of them from college will understand why the word "first" on the glass carries so much weight.
It makes a generous present for a season-ticket holder, a former player or anyone who wore purple in Ballhalla's first two seasons. Fill it for a celebration, share it slowly and enjoy it responsibly.
