The first seven-game Finals in WNBA history ended with a 68-63 win on Halloween night, and this ring keeps the score.

Gabby Williams decided Game 7 after halftime
Atlanta led by six at the break, and Gabby Williams had two points. She then scored 28 in the second half, a Finals record, finishing with 30 points, four steals and two blocks. She was named Finals MVP and summed it up simply: "I wasn't gonna lose on Halloween."
Veronica Burton sealed it with two free throws with 5.1 seconds left. Kiah Stokes finished the series with a record 19 blocks.

A first title came faster than anyone expected
The Valkyries joined the league as an expansion team in 2025. Winning the championship in only their second season made them the fastest expansion team in North American professional sport to do it.
