The Fast and the Furious 25 Years of Street Racing 2001-2026 Advent Calendar

In 1998, Vibe magazine published "Racer X", journalist Ken Li's piece on the crews who raced tuned imports through New York after dark. Hollywood noticed, director Rob Cohen moved the scene to Los Angeles, and on 22 June 2001 The Fast and the Furious opened in American theaters. Nobody expected a modest street-racing movie with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to still be running a quarter of a century later.

Twenty-four charms mark the anniversary, each one ready to hang from a branch or clip onto a key ring. On the cover, Dom's black Charger and Brian's orange Supra sit nose to nose under a purple Los Angeles sky, with the crew standing behind them.

The whole collection: eight members of the family, four cars and the pieces of the garage.

Eight faces carry the family from 2001 to now

Vin Diesel's Dom, Paul Walker's Brian and Michelle Rodriguez's Letty come from the first film. Tyrese Gibson's Roman and Ludacris's Tej joined in 2 Fast 2 Furious in 2003, Sung Kang's Han arrived with Tokyo Drift in 2006, Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs walked into Fast Five in 2011, and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw took center stage in Furious 7.

Brian's charm sits next to Dom's, which is where fans have always put him. Paul Walker died on 30 November 2013, before Furious 7 was finished, and the film said goodbye with two cars driving side by side until their roads part, set to "See You Again". That farewell is why this anniversary feels personal to so many people.

Film reel, pistons and pine on the table, with the anniversary box standing tall.

Four cars tell the story better than any script

Ask a fan to name a scene and the answer usually includes a car. These four come from the first two films, when the machines were characters in their own right.

Car	Driver	Where it starred
1970 Dodge Charger R/T, black	Dom Toretto	The Fast and the Furious (2001), built with his father and almost never driven
Toyota Supra, orange	Brian O'Conner	The Fast and the Furious (2001), rebuilt from a wreck into the "ten-second car"
Mitsubishi Eclipse, green	Brian O'Conner	The Fast and the Furious (2001), his first ride in the film
Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, silver and blue	Brian O'Conner	2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), the car that opens the Miami chapter

Three of the four belong to Brian, and that fits. Walker was a serious car enthusiast off screen, and Nissan Skylines were among his favorites.

Dom, Brian, Letty and Tej above the Charger, Supra and Eclipse, with NOS, a turbo, a wheel and a shifter in front.

Nitrous, a key and a silver cross fill the rest of the countdown

The other doors open on the garage itself, with a blue NOS bottle, a turbocharger, a Sparco steering wheel, a shifter, a wrench and a checkered flag. A Toyota key belongs to the Supra, Dom's silver cross has followed him through the whole series, and signs for Los Angeles and Hollywood put the story back where it started, in the streets around Echo Park.

The last two charms say what the films always say, with a 25 Years badge and the word Family written over the crew's silhouettes. The original film returned to theaters on 21 August 2026, a 4K remaster followed on 25 August, and the final chapter, Fast Forever, is set for 17 March 2028.

Laid out under a NOS sign in the garage, every charm with its clasp ready.

By Christmas Eve the whole garage is assembled. Some fans will clip Dom and Brian to their keys in January and leave them there, which suits a story about the people who ride with you.
