Rock Legends 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar 24 Days of Rock Icons

The box is black, studded with silver rivets and a red star in each corner. Stage lights blaze over a crowd with raised fists while a singer leans into the microphone and a skull glares from the back of a jacket. A sunburst guitar, a vintage microphone and a red bandana frame the gold Rock Legends title, with a red banner for Advent Calendar 2026 and 24 Days of Rock Icons.

Turn it to the side and the front becomes a wall of 24 numbered doors over a concert scene, titled Hard Rock Legends. Behind them wait 24 big-headed caricatures of the musicians who defined arena rock, each frozen mid-pose with a guitar, a mic stand or a pair of drumsticks.

The box and all 24 rockers lined up like a festival bill.

The lineup reads like the greatest bill never booked

The figures are fan caricatures, not portraits, but the giveaways are deliberate. These are the ones fans spot first:

On the figure	The legend	Why it matters
Top hat, black curls, sunglasses, sunburst guitar	Slash	His riffs drove Guns N' Roses' Appetite for Destruction (1987), the best-selling debut album in US history
Red bandana, mic stand and a single red rose	Axl Rose	The rose is the band name in one prop, and the bandana is pure late-80s Axl
White-and-black Demon paint, tongue out, studded armour	Gene Simmons	KISS formed in New York in 1973 and played its last show at Madison Square Garden on 2 December 2023
Black hat with a badge, mutton chops, bass slung low	Lemmy Kilmister	He founded Motörhead in 1975 and played loud until his death in December 2015, days after turning 70
Round purple glasses, black coat, cross, a peace sign	Ozzy Osbourne	The voice of Black Sabbath, who said goodbye in Birmingham on 5 July 2025 and died seventeen days later
Golden curls, open shirt, mic stand, flared jeans	Robert Plant	Led Zeppelin's frontman, whose "Stairway to Heaven" arrived on the band's untitled fourth album in 1971
Purple suit, black curls, cream guitar	Prince	Purple Rain (1984) made him a guitar hero as much as a pop star; he died in April 2016 at 57
Cowboy hat, dark glasses, beard, guitar	Billy Gibbons	The guitarist of ZZ Top, formed in Houston in 1969 as "that little ol' band from Texas"

The rest of the doors hide nods and deep cuts

Several figures borrow a single famous detail rather than a whole person, which keeps the morning guessing game going. Scarves knotted to a mic stand are the trademark Steven Tyler made famous with Aerosmith, and a flat cap paired with a red double-horned guitar points straight at AC/DC. A blond mane under a red bandana calls up the Sunset Strip hair-metal years, while a polka-dot outfit and a pointed V-shaped guitar recall Randy Rhoads, the young guitarist who lifted Ozzy's first solo albums before his death in 1982.

The shock-rock wing is here too. Two figures wear the black-ringed eyes and pale faces that Alice Cooper turned into stage theatre in the early 1970s, and a red spiked crest and a drummer behind a star-fronted kit round out the band. Fans who grew up with posters on the bedroom wall will name most of them before breakfast, then argue about the rest.

Rock's farewells make this a December to remember

Many of these artists have left the stage in the last few years. KISS played its final show in 2023, Aerosmith retired from touring in 2024, and Ozzy's last concert with Black Sabbath in July 2025 became one of the most emotional nights rock has ever had. Hanging their likenesses on a tree turns the countdown into a small tribute to a generation of performers.

Open one door a night and by Christmas Eve the branches look like a festival lineup nobody could ever afford to book. For a fan devoted to one band in particular, the rock Christmas advent calendar makes a good companion, and a bandana tied on as ribbon finishes the look.

The rockers hang among lights and red bandana ribbon.
