Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine Van Building Block Set

The van is built in the cartoon's colors. A teal body is wrapped in a wavy band of lime green, orange flowers sit on the doors and the hubcaps, and “The Mystery Machine” is written in orange letters on a lime panel along the side. A grey roof rack, silver bumper and round headlights finish the front.

The details continue inside. The side door opens to show orange seats, the windscreen reveals the steering wheel, and the spare wheel on the front carries another orange flower. The whole van sits on a grey road base with a strip of grass and flowers along the edge.

The van that started with Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! premiered on CBS on September 13, 1969. Created by Hanna-Barbera, the series followed four teenagers and a talking Great Dane who solved mysteries that always seemed supernatural until the villain was unmasked.

The Mystery Machine was there from the very first episode. Its psychedelic paint and flowers made it one of the most recognizable vehicles in animation, and it has appeared in almost every Scooby-Doo series and film since then.

That history is why the van works so well as a build. Fans recognize it from its colors alone, long before reading the name on the side.

Mystery Inc. is all here

The set includes the five members of the gang as minifigures. Fred wears his white shirt and orange ascot, Daphne is in purple with a green scarf, Velma wears her orange sweater and glasses, Shaggy is in his green shirt and brown trousers, and Scooby-Doo wears his blue collar.

The figures make the build more fun to play with and to display. In the photos, Fred sits behind the wheel while Shaggy and Scooby lean out of the side door, and Velma holds a magnifying glass ready for the next clue.

The supplied specifications list durable PVC bricks that can be taken apart and rebuilt, finished with dye-sublimation printing, so the scene can be rearranged as often as you like.

A build for fans of every age

Scooby-Doo reaches across generations. Parents who grew up with the original series can share the build with children who know the gang from newer shows and films.

Collectors who prefer a softer take on the same characters can pair it with the Little People x Scooby-Doo 57th Anniversary Collection Minifigure Set.

The idea behind the set is easy to love. One van, five friends and a mystery waiting around the corner, now rebuilt brick by brick.
