The Simpsons Santa Homer Plush Toy 2026

This plush puts Homer Simpson in a full red Santa suit with fluffy white trim at the collar, cuffs, hem and boots, topped with a slouchy Santa hat and a white pompom. His face is unmistakable: the big round eyes with tiny pupils, the yellow skin, the stubbly muzzle and the bald head peeking under the hat. Grey mittens and grey boots finish the outfit.

The box is a pale blue window carton printed with white snowflakes, with a vintage-style "Santa Homer" tag in the top corner and The Simpsons logo in red at the bottom. A small "4+" marking sits on the upper left.

The Simpsons began with Homer as a department-store Santa

The very first full episode of The Simpsons was a Christmas story. "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" aired on Fox on December 17, 1989, and it finds Homer without his Christmas bonus, secretly taking a job as a mall Santa to pay for presents. The plan goes wrong, as Homer's plans tend to, but the night ends with the family adopting a greyhound who lost his race, Santa's Little Helper.

So a Santa Homer is not just a seasonal costume. It goes back to the show's first episode, the one that introduced the family's dog and set the tone for more than three decades of holiday episodes.

A soft body with Homer's face kept sharp

Plush versions of cartoon characters often lose their faces in the fabric. This one keeps Homer's features crisp: the eyes are large white domes, the nose is a raised bump, and the five-o'clock shadow is printed as a darker band around the mouth. The body, suit and hat are soft and squeezable, so it sits comfortably on a mantel or in a child's arms.

The proportions follow the show too. Homer's round belly fills the suit, his arms hang a little stiffly at his sides, and his legs end in stubby boots, exactly the slightly awkward Santa he played in that first episode.

Look closely at the Santa suit and you will see it is cut the way Homer wears everything, a little too tight across the middle and a little too short in the sleeves. The fluffy trim is generous and bright white, which keeps the figure looking festive even from across a room, and the hat sits slightly off-centre the way a borrowed costume would.

Where Santa Homer looks best in December

• Sitting on a mantel between candles and greenery
• Under the tree, peeking out between wrapped presents
• On an office desk as a cheerful holiday mascot
• Still in the box on a shelf with other Simpsons collectibles

Fans who collect Springfield memorabilia can line it up with the Simpsons Pink Family Car Hot Wheels Die-Cast for a small display of the family's world. Together they make a compact Springfield corner for a shelf or desk.

A Christmas gift for every age in the family

The Simpsons has been on air since 1989, which means grandparents, parents and kids all know Homer. That makes this plush an easy present to put under the tree when you are buying for a mixed-age household, or a fun stocking surprise for a fan who quotes the show every December.

It also adds humour to holiday décor that can otherwise feel very traditional, one yellow face among the angels and nutcrackers. Guests tend to spot him first and smile.
