PAC Benjamin Satterley Long Live The Bastard 1986–2026 Memorial T-Shirt

The hardest word on this shirt is also the one AEW fans knew best.

“The Bastard” followed PAC through the promotion as more than a nickname. AEW used it repeatedly in match billing, including his final match at All Out on September 26, 2026, when Benjamin Satterley wrestled Andrade El Ídolo one last time.

The PAC Benjamin Satterley Long Live The Bastard 1986–2026 Memorial T-Shirt keeps that persona at the center. Large distressed lettering dominates the top of the black tee, while monochrome portraits, an eagle, the dates 1986–2026, his full name and the AEW mark turn the composition from ordinary wrestler merchandise into an explicit remembrance piece.

The quote underneath “The Bastard” changes the memorial

The smallest words on the design may carry the most personal history.

PAC had shared “Throw your heart out in front of you and run ahead to catch it” on social media back in 2012. After his death, the line resurfaced throughout the wrestling community and was incorporated into AEW's official memorial merchandise.

Placed underneath the severe LONG LIVE THE BASTARD headline, the quote creates an unusual contrast. The upper half remembers the uncompromising wrestling persona; the lower half points toward Benjamin Satterley beyond it.

That distinction fits the way AEW approached its September 30 tribute episode. The promotion did not limit the night to PAC's on-screen character. Its official preview remembered a wrestler from Newcastle who built a career across Europe, Japan and North America, influenced a generation of high-flying performers and left behind relationships throughout the industry.

Why “The Bastard” belongs specifically to the AEW memory

Satterley's career extended well beyond AEW, including major runs under other names, but this shirt deliberately does not attempt to cover all of them. It remembers PAC.

AEW had been calling him “The Bastard” since his earliest years with the promotion, and the name continued through championship runs, rivalries and his later Death Riders period. That makes the wording especially meaningful for someone whose strongest memories involve watching PAC in AEW rather than encountering him earlier in his career.

The timing also matters. AEW devoted the September 30 episode of Dynamite to Satterley's life and career just days after his death, turning that week's television into a shared remembrance for wrestlers and viewers alike. A dated memorial shirt from the same moment can preserve something a normal PAC logo tee cannot: the period when fans were processing the loss together.

That is the strongest reason to choose this design. It is not simply PAC merchandise produced in black and white. The dates, the quote and Long Live The Bastard freeze one particular transition — from a ring persona fans expected to see again to the words they began using to remember him.

More wrestling tribute apparel

For another remembrance piece within the same wrestling audience, the Andy “The Butcher” Williams In Memory Tribute Shirt stays within AEW-era wrestling culture rather than sending readers toward unrelated sports or music apparel.
