The Dakota gave Minnesota its name, and this jersey gives the lakes and forests behind that name a place on game night.
The jersey is black with green and pale silver trim at the collar and arms. The Timberwolves' howling wolf logo sits on the chest above large silver-blue numerals, and the back carries your name and number in matching lettering.
Fine line art covers the body in a faint star pattern, and along the hem a dark forest of pines frames a still lake, with a small band of green reflected in the water on the back. It is the kind of scene you would see from a canoe at dusk.
Front and back: wolf logo, custom name and number, and the forest lake at the hem.
Every detail points north
The design is built from the landscape that defines the state. Each element in the table below has a reason to be there.
| Detail | What it reflects |
|---|---|
| Howling wolf | The team's identity and the animal of the northern woods |
| Pine forest at the hem | The boreal forests that cover northern Minnesota |
| Still lake on the back | A state defined by water, named from the Dakota words Mni Sota |
| Green and silver trim | The colours of forest and winter sky |

Minnesota is home to eleven tribal nations
Eleven tribal nations share the state: seven Anishinaabe, or Ojibwe, nations and four Dakota nations. Their languages are in the place names fans use every day, starting with the name of the state itself, which comes from Mni Sota, a Dakota description of its waters.
A heritage-month jersey is a modest way to recognise that history inside the arena. It keeps the focus on the land and water rather than on costume, which is how a tribute should feel.
Worn in a practice gym, the lake art visible across the hem.
The quiet colours suit a northern winter
Black, forest green and silver look at home on a snowy February night as much as in November. The jersey layers easily over a long-sleeve tee for outdoor courts and looks sharp on its own at a watch party.
Because the artwork is printed into the fabric, the pines and lake keep their detail wash after wash through a long season. The black base also hides the scuffs of pickup games.
Walking away across an outdoor court, the name and number on show.
Make it yours with a name and number
Add your own name, a family name or a favourite player's number to finish it. It is a thoughtful gift for Wolves fans across the state, for families with ties to the Dakota and Ojibwe nations, and for anyone who loves the north woods.
For a football take on the same heritage month, see the Buffalo Bills custom heritage hoodie. It brings the same respect to a different sport.
Front and back against a dark backdrop, the silver trim glowing.
