Orders & Payment
Payment Methods
Doesignus accepts two forms of payment: PayPal, and credit or debit cards. Which options appear to you depends on your country and on what our payment providers support at the time you check out.
Whatever you choose, the payment itself is handled by the provider, not by us. We never see or store your full card number.

Paying with PayPal
Choosing PayPal at checkout sends you to PayPal to finish the payment. You can pay from:
- Your PayPal balance
- A bank account linked to PayPal
- A credit or debit card held in PayPal
Once PayPal confirms the payment you come straight back to us and your order is placed. You can check the payment again at any time from inside your PayPal account, which is often the fastest way to confirm that a charge went through.
Paying with a credit or debit card
The card types we can take are shown on the checkout page. Before you submit, it is worth checking four things, because they cause almost every failed payment we see:
- The total is what you expected
- The card number, expiry date and security code are typed correctly
- The billing address matches the address your bank has on file
- Your card is allowed to make online and international purchases
Card details go directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Doesignus does not store your full card number at any point.
How your payment details are protected
Checkout runs over a secure connection and payments are processed by established third-party providers. Inside Doesignus, access to any customer information is limited to the people who need it to process an order, handle billing, prevent fraud, or answer a support request.
Occasionally a payment provider will ask for an extra step, such as a one-time code from your bank or proof of payment. That happens when the provider cannot confirm a transaction on its own, and it is a normal part of card security rather than a sign that anything is wrong.
Common payment questions
Why was I charged an international transaction fee?
Your bank added it. Some banks charge a fee when a payment is processed outside your country or in another currency. The fee comes from your bank or card issuer, not from Doesignus, and we never receive it. Your bank can tell you what its foreign transaction fee is.
Why was my card declined?
The most common reasons are:
- The card has not been activated yet
- The card number or billing address does not match your bank records
- The card has expired
- Insufficient funds, or the credit limit has been reached
- Online or international transactions are switched off for that card
- The bank flagged the payment for a security check
- A temporary problem at the bank or payment processor
Check your details and try once more. If it still fails, use a different card or pay through PayPal instead. Your bank can tell you the exact reason for the decline, which we are not able to see.
Why do I see two charges for one order?
Start with your email. If you received two order confirmations with two different order numbers, two orders really were placed, and you should email us right away so we can cancel one before it enters production.
If you only received one confirmation, the second charge is almost certainly an authorization hold rather than a real payment. Banks place these to verify a card and release them on their own, usually within 1 to 8 business days. If both charges are still showing as completed after that, contact your bank and email us your order number.
Still stuck on payment?
Email [email protected] and tell us what happened, including any error message you saw. Support hours are Monday through Saturday, US Central Time. Please do not send your card number — we will never ask for it and we cannot use it.
